About Brent & Schneider’s Computing
Brent Schneider started Schneider’s Computing in 2003, at the age of 15, through a Summer Company grant. The fifteen-year-old was subject to writing a business plan, and presenting it in front of a panel of judges, not unlike Shark Tank, for a $3,000 government grant. Brent went against College and University students, with his grade 9 business education, and was awarded the grant among a select group of applicants.
Brent graduated from Mitchell High School in 2006, and later attended the University of Western Ontario, while still operating the business. In 2009, Brent was nominated and advanced to the finals for Ace Canada’s Student Entrepreneur of the Year, while attending Western University. Brent was a member of Social Science Student’s Council and University Student’s Council at Western.
Brent opened Schneider’s Computing first retail location in Mitchell, Ontario in 2007. Schneider’s then expanded into Stratford in 2009, and Listowel in 2015. Schneider’s became a Bell Authorized Retailer from 2009-2020. Schneider’s also joined the largest National I.T. Buying Group in Canada in 2009.
Rogan Fenn joined the company, in late 2018, and quickly became an asset to the team because of his skills as a Network and VoIP Engineer. As Rogan and Brent joined forces, the company began growing its very own line of telecom service offerings including VoIP, rural and in-town internet, digital TV, local web hosting, and more!
Together, Brent and Rogan went on to launch their Ubiquiti airFiber Internet network, Schneider’s very own wireless internet network in 2018. After parting ways with Bell in mid-2020, Schneider’s became a Telus partner in June 2020.
Brent and Rogan opened in an Exeter location in 2020, which is now Schneider’s Computing Exeter. All while already utilizing the fibre internet in Exeter, for their data center.
Schneider’s added IPTV in 2021, and has an APP with a fully featured TV GUIDE, to all internet clients. Paired with VoIP, and Home Security, the full telecom line-up was complete. Schneider’s is running fibre in Stratford and Mitchell in 2023 to business clients, and starting their dedicated fibre offering. Should your home or business need internet, Schneider’s will custom build you a solution, whether it’s wireless or dedicated fibre.
Print, design and web — all in house
Schneider’s Computing also offers faxing, custom graphic design, photocopying, business cards, tickets, brochures, menus, flyers, gift certificates, laminating, custom web design, domain registration, and custom web hosting.

Schneider’s only buys from Canadian I.T. warehouses, so by shopping at Schneider’s Computing, you are supporting the Canadian distribution channel. Our repairs, warranties, and products all support the Canadian I.T. divisions and Canadian jobs, right here in Ontario! Many of our products are made in the US, China, and various other countries around the world, so it is largely important to us that our warehousing, product warranties, and purchasing supports the Canadian I.T. channel! All profits stay here in Canada, and all repairs, warranty, and service are done locally in-house.
